Flower Field Farmers' Market: August 3, 2024
On Saturday, we held our second Flower Field Farmers' Market of the season, and we are so grateful for the support from everyone who spent the morning with us in the flower field.
It was a gorgeous morning in the flower field, with the sunlight shining through the trees and a cool breeze blowing through the flowers. Not at all the stormy morning that had been forecasted!
There was a hiccup when our coffee vendor had an unfortunate breakdown, but we are cheering them on through the repairs and look forward to their return at our remaining markets!
Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck, from Greenville, NC, has the sweetest owners, and they were sad to miss the morning market. At the last market, the field was abuzz with all of the great things people had to say about their orders and we know it will be again soon!
The sweetest peaches returned to the flower field, courtesy of Ambrose Farm. Established in 1909, Gaylon Ambrose continues to steward the farm where he was raised, offering seasonal peaches and pecans.
In addition to the bags of peaches, there were some peach-inspired treats to go along with them. Peach poundcake and ice cream made the morning even sweeter, keeping everyone cool!
Next to the peaches, Cartlegde Crafts returned to the flower field, with so many thoughtfully designed pieces. Some very cute teacher gifts were spotted at her booth!
Cartledge Crafts offers one-of-a-kind designs from stationery to cute coffee mugs. We know of a happy cat mom who left the flower field with a new mug from the market!
It is always sweet to share the field with everyone for a morning, picking flowers and shopping with vendors.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the flower field this past Saturday. We enjoyed having so many people stop by, and we are looking forward to the remaining Flower Field Farmers' Market dates!
